Active Distance Assist DISTRONIC You will not want to be without this highly developed system any longer, especially in bumper-to-bumper driving or in traffic jams. The Active Distance Assist DISTRONIC takes a lot of work away from you and automatically regulates the distance from the vehicle in front. |
Active Lane Keeping Assist If you cross a broken or continuous line unintentionally, the system can warn you via the vibrating steering wheel. With a continuous line, or if the lane behind a broken line has been detected as occupied, the assistance system can intervene further with unilateral braking. This path correction can prevent accidents. If you actively steer, brake or accelerate, the system does not intervene. As the driver you always have control over your vehicle. |

PRE-SAFE® system The PRE-SAFE® system makes use of the time prior to an impending accident on your behalf. A host of measures can reduce the loads generated as a result. The innovative PRE-SAFE® Sound generates a noise from the speakers which can trigger a natural protective reflex: This can protect the inner ear by damping the accident noise. |
Active Braking Assist The Active Brake Assist is constantly watching out for you and can help prevent serious accidents due to too little distance or inattentiveness. The system then issues a visual and acoustic warning about an impending collision. If you then brake too gently, it provides you with brake force boosting adequate to the corresponding situation. |

Speed Limit Assist The Speed Limit Assist makes it easy for you to keep to the stipulations and avoid unnecessary speeding tickets. The system shows what is permitted: it uses the camera to detect the current speed limit and displays it on the instrument cluster. Restrictive additional signs weather situations such as wet conditions are also registered. |
Blind Spot Assist Blind Spot Assist reduces the risk of an accident, during lane changes but also when at a standstill. It monitors the vehicle's blind spot and can provide you with a visual and audible warning of detected dangers. It operates not only while driving, but also for up to three minutes after switching off the ignition. |
