He states that, so far, he has only been driving the “large” Mercedes-Benz cars, which, based on sensations, are similar to navigating a vessel – it is stable and flowing.  But the new Mercedes-Benz CLA offers you a more dynamic sensation and also the subconscious desire to drive faster. “It is always great to be the first one who tries out a new car,” Sleirs commented. The partner of the reputation management company experienced this unique opportunity in rather difficult winter weather conditions, driving from Riga to Ainazi along the old Riga-Tallinn highway until the first village in Estonia. As Sleirs said, despite the storm, the CLA is very convincing on the road, and it is easy to handle.

He characterises the design of Mercedes-Benz CLA as modern, “while the classic charm of the brand is preserved, which is a notable achievement during the time when many brands abandon classics and follow the progress in design as well”. The car’s comfort also meets the “premium promise”.

During the drive, Sleirs appreciated the headlights of the car most of all since half of the year in Latvia is spent in semi-darkness. “I highly rate the adaptive headlights and automated function of low/high beams,” Sleirs said.

When asked if the car suits his daily needs, the answer is clear - definitely. But the former editor of the “Klubs” magazine adds that he would enjoy the Mercedes-Benz CLA AMG 6.3 even more. He also believes that driving will soon become automated and the skills of driving a car will be as exquisite as, for example, sailing skills. “So, if I have to buy a car, I would prefer a piece of art. And Mercedes-Benz is definitely one of those,” Sleirs remarks.
